What the QuarterX waitlist collects, why we use it, and how to contact us about your information.
Updated 26 October 2026 · Applies to the public landing page and waitlist.
What you share
Joining the waitlist provides your email address. You can optionally tell us how many stocks you own and which research tools you use. Skipping these questions does not remove your email from the waitlist.
The demo uses synthetic company examples. The waitlist does not request access to your brokerage account, holdings, payment details, or research documents.
Why we use it
Your email is used to notify you when the QuarterX beta opens. Optional answers help us understand the research needs of people interested in QuarterX. We also process requests to maintain the service and limit spam and repeated submissions.
Browser storage and request data
Your theme preference is saved in your browser so the site remembers your choice. The waitlist form does not save your email or preference token in browser storage. The temporary preference token is held in memory and is discarded when you close the questions or reload the page.
The service processes network addresses for abuse prevention and stores hashed identifiers for submission limits. Hosting providers may process request metadata, such as IP addresses and browser information, when delivering and securing the site.
Services that help run QuarterX
Vercel hosts the frontend, Google Cloud Run runs the waitlist API, and Supabase provides the database. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Data may be processed in the locations used by those providers.
Keeping and removing your signup
Signup records remain on the waitlist unless removed. A preference token expires after one hour or after it is used; that expiry does not delete the signup. Closing the optional questions also leaves your signup in place.
For a request to review, correct, or remove your signup, contact QuarterX using the email address you registered. We may need to verify that you control that address before acting on your request.
Changes and questions
We will update this page as the service changes. This notice covers the landing page and waitlist; the beta product may require additional information about how its features use data.
